The primary objective of this program is to enhance the educational experience of each student by integrating active lifestyles into their school day while developing character education, leadership, and resiliency skills to utilize every day to overcome challenges of life.
This program enhances the confidence, self-esteem, and opportunities for students in both academics and in living active, healthy lifestyles. This will encourage community involvement and opportunities to establish positive role models.
Our focus is for kids to develop a connection, leadership skills; to become active community leaders. This program will motivate and encourage daily attendance and engagement. Students will benefit from a range of tools and strategies to positively impact their social, emotional, and academic performance while developing important life skills, resiliency, and healthy development. This program will focus on leadership skills and character education and give kids the opportunity to be resilient youth in our current day.
We wanted to create a Leadership and Resiliency program for students at CJHS that will encourage students to be active in school and better their education. We hope that this program will encourage students to come to school and this will reflect on their education and their grades. While they attend they will be heavily involved in service activities, community relations, character education, leadership skills, and giving the kids resiliency skills and tools to battle everyday challenges. This will allow kids to be in a safe environment, team environment, and individual to be able to have them learn about resiliency skills.
